I didn't eat a donut. I must admit it was VERY hard to pass by the box and not grab one but I did it.
The cherry cobbler was not as easy. I had a small portion on Saturday night and another small portion on Sunday. Also, I topped it with a small scoop of slow churned vanilla bean ice cream. The old Shayna would have had a huge bowl of cobbler and three scoops of ice cream so I am feeling pretty good about my ability to eat what I love and not gorge myself.
I'm still not feeling full after I eat a cup of food which is making me a little nervous. My next fill is on February 11th and I will definitely bring it up at that time. Last night I ate about a third of my meal and some dessert but didn't feel any restriction...I don't want to over-eat but I fear that I may be.
Next week is going to be a very challenging time for me. I'll be in California for 8 days, eating in restaurants most of the time. It'll be a true test for me to see how good I am away from my comfort zone for more then a dew days!

Chewable vitamins suck.
After two months of consuming chewable multivitamins, B complex and calcium I can honestly say that I am getting really tired of the texture of said vitamins.
Admittedly, the new vitamins are better than the fintstones chewable vitamins I originally started with but the grittiniess and after tastes are disgusting. The B complex vitamin is the worst. It's supposed to be "kiwi stawberry" flavored. In actuality, it tastes like disgusting disgustingness. Good analagy, right?
The other realization I've come to this week is that I am not able to drink to get drunk anymore. I went to a happy hour on Tuesday night (in my honor, because I am awesome) and consumed 3 glasses of Riesling. No buzz. No giggling. Nothing! After the third glass I started to get a terrible headache and changed over to water. That was fun! Then when I woke up yesterday, I had a teeny tiny headache. When I arrived at work, the headache had taken over the entire left side of my head, making it so that I could hardly open my left eye. I don't know if it's because the wine caused me to become dehydrated, causing me to have a headache or because I was grinding my teeth in my sleep. I'm pretty sure it was the former, but can't be certain. Headaches are annoying so I guess I'll refrain from drinking from here on out. Or perhaps I will try hard alcohol and see what happens with that...
Other than the negative comments above, I am doing pretty well. I've decided that chili is the ultimate lunch because it's got protein and is very filling. Who knows what I'll do come summertime...is there such thing as a summer chili? I could use some ideas of high protein, filling meals or soups - does anyone out there have any suggestions?

26.8, bitches!
I feel great! I just returned from having my second fill and have lost a total of 26.8lbs. Although I originally anticipated a higher loss, I'll take this with open arms.
My PA gave me 2 more cm's of saline and said that the next month should be a little more difficult for me. I really don't mind the challenge; I'd rather be challenged by chewing my food to a liquidy consistency than be overweight and unhappy.
Tomorrow we'll take the 2 month picture. Be on the lookout for that :)

I know, I know.
I have been really sucky about updating but my life has been nothing short of chaos for the past week.
On Friday, I have my second fill appointment which should be very exciting. I have been more hungry then I feel I should be and am hoping that the doc will increase the amount of sailine in my band.
Also tomorrow I plan to post my "two month" progress picture. My hair looks like crap today therefore we will wait until it looks good enough to take pictures :)
